Ursa Tea
The Process:
This was the first draft of the package design. I was originally going for a 70's inspired vibe since the colors fit with the color of tea. There was way too much empty space, too busy, and the logo was bland and unbalanced.
This was the second iteration to the design. The logo was changed to lean more into the 70's aesthetic, but still didn't feel right. the designs on the sides were still too busy and there was still way too much empty space with all the information too far apart from each other, loosing the connection and readability.
This is the finalized design for the package. I desaturated the colors to be easier on the eyes and more realistic to what a printer could accomplish.

Ursa Tea is a conceptual tea branding I did for a company I was working at. Bears are animals that are both fierce and full of energy, as well as sleepy creatures that hibernate for an entire season. I thought this duality would fit well with a tea brand since tea can both be a source of energy as well as a nightcap.
