The Coping Catalog
The Process:
Here are some early cover sketches. I experimented a lot but ultimately wanted the title to be near the top with the mascot near the bottom. There's also an early version of the logo here.
Here is some early page process. The middle two sketches are experimenting with how the bulk of the content would be laid out while everything else is how section intros would look like. My first ideas for how the content would be laid out were way too crowded.
These are sketches from when I re-did the procrastination and consumables section. I decided i wanted half the book to follow a more typical catalog layout and half to follow this more experimental image-heavy layout.

The Coping Catalog is a project I did for my thesis in college. It's a book full of helpful ways to cope with the symptoms of ADHD. Most books or articles that deal with this topic tend to be geared toward young boys or parents of young boys since research and the diagnosis process tend to be biased toward this demographic. As a female adult with ADHD who doesn't fit the usual description of an ADHD individual, I wanted to make a help book that can be applied to a wider demographic.
