Gleaner's Food Parcel
This Project was for a school assignment where I had to design packaging for one of the Sustainable Development Goals. I tackled the goal of zero hunger and made packaging both for food parcels delivered to food-insecure people and regular grocery store bags. The bags for the less fortunate would have quotes of how gleaners helps people while the grocery store bags would have call to action quotes letting people know the sad reality of food insecurity.
The Process:
I played around with a lot of different ideas for parcel designs, at first they were going to be designed on cardboard boxes but I decided to go with bags since it would be more realistic. A lot of the designs incorporated perishable food since that would be what was going to be in the parcels.
At first the food list was going to be a big column listing out everything, but I decided to section the list into food groups that would be easier to understand.
These are more early food parcel designs. I went with the right one as it was more interesting and moved the logo inside the pattern strip since it wasnt as important. The brown and tan color palette was chosen to look more natural and match with the brown paper bag material.

Here's some deliverables from the end of this project.
